Melissa’s Musings

Melissa’s Musings is one of the class requirements for my social media class this summer, which I’m taking as part of my corporate communications/public relations master’s program at Georgetown University. The blog includes firsthand accounts of my use of social media, reactions to class reading assignments, and musings on leveraging social media and web 2.0 technology within the communications and public relations sectors.

But like my tagline says, Melissa’s Musings also encompasses “life as I know it” through posts that highlight my interests and thoughts beyond the social media and communications worlds.

My hope is that my audience enjoys reading this blog as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. Please comment if you have ideas for topics you’d like me to cover or suggestions for how I can improve this blog.
